According to Rogers, this led to a class that fluidly shifts in and out of close-quarters combat, blending whirlwind strikes with elemental-infused spear throws. As a result, Grinding Gear Games claims she boasts the longest combo chains of any Path of Exile 2 class.
Unveiling Powerful New Ascendancy Classes
In addition to the Huntress, Path of Exile 2 introduces five new Ascendancy classes: The Ritualist and Amazon for the Huntress, the Witch's Lich, the Warrior's Smith of Kitava, and the Mercenary's Tactician.
Each new Ascendancy class enhances the abilities of its base class. For example, the Lich can sacrifice health to boost her energy shield. The Smith of Kitava, on the other hand, can reforge their weapons before battle, adding powerful effects like explosive fire damage. The Smith of Kitava can unlock a part of the skill tree that’s free to assign, but in return, they can’t equip body armor with traditional mods.
